Another school year, another opportunity to welcome students. This semester, in addition to the expanding international community at our school, we welcome Frances, from the Philippines, here to pursue his MBA degree.

Hailing from a distant province in his homeland, Frances had a quite long journey before he first set foot in our school. To begin, he flew a one hour local flight going to his country's capital city, Manila. He then boarded another flight that brought him straight to the port city of Kaohsiung, where he took bus and train rides going to the vibrant Tainan.

Accompanied by his family and friend, Frances traveled around the area including the ever remarkable Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum and several night markets. It was the perfect opportunity for him to explore before he gets busy with school works, and despite not being his first time visiting Taiwan, he was still in awe with how much our beautiful country has to offer.

With the beginning of classes being just around the corner, this new student feels nothing but excitement as he unveils an entirely new chapter of his life. Padayon!
